KOTO is a rare kaon experiment with a primary goal of measuring the KL→π⁰νν decay. This particular decay is known as a “golden mode” because of its theoretical cleanness and direct CP-violating process, which offers a clean ground for testing various new physics models. However, the small decay probability of KL→π⁰νν decay makes its measurement extremely challenging. KOTO is the first experiment with the designed experimental sensitivity below 10-10 for probing this decay and is expected to achieve this goal in the coming few years. In this talk, I will present the latest results on the KL→π⁰νν search and the prospects of the KOTO experiment.
