Measuring branching fraction of B_s meson decaying to a short-lived kaon and a neutral pion

This study aims to search for the decay of a BS meson decaying to neutral KS and π mesons using 121.4 fb-1 of data collected by the Belle collaboration using an asymmetric electron-positron collider experiment at the centre of mass energy near the Υ(5S) resonance state. From certain theoretical estimations, the branching fraction of this decay is of the order 10-8, thus making this event highly unlikely to be found within this dataset. Thus, this study will try to fix an upper bound for this branching fraction limit.
