Development of Academia Sinica Gravitational Physics Research Facility for LIGO

We are developing a facility for gravitational wave experiment in a sub-basement floor in Academia Sinica since March 2023. This facility is named Academia Sinica Gravitational Physics Research Facility (ASGRAF). Academia Sinica, National Central University, and National Tsing-Hua University collaborate as a Taiwan-LIGO instrumentation team and plan research and development for LIGO Voyager, a future project of LIGO worldwide collaboration. We are establishing a cryogenic interferometer system for thermal noise characterization, development of software, and education for students. A 2-meters interferometer system built in National Central University will be installed into ASGRAF in early 2024. We present an overview of ASGRAF design and current status of an active vibration isolation system for cryogenic chamber with a digital control system.
