台灣物理學會參與會議行為準則

台灣物理學會(TPS)致力於維護專業素養,創造和諧專業的會議環境。以下是本會的參與會議行為準則(下簡稱:行為準則),您參與本會舉辦之會議即代表您同意遵守本會之行為準則,本會亦將強力實施行為準則,以確保所有參與者安全和順暢的會議體驗。

  1. 相互尊重 本會堅決反對任何形式的偏見、騷擾和報復行為,並呼籲所有在會議現場之人士,包括但不限於參加者、參展攤商、學會工作人員、志工和利害關係人等,應以專業態度歡迎彼此,在會議場合、線上會議平台,以及相關的社交活動上應互相尊重、互相理解,共同創造和諧、包容和專業的環境。
  2. 創造安全環境 所有由本會籌劃和贊助的會議均將致力於營造安全的活動環境,絕不容忍參與者對他人造成任何形式的騷擾或歧視行為。本會將嚴格執行此行為準則,期望所有參與者共同努力,確保活動環境的安全和順暢進行。
  3. 投訴程序 若您遇到任何問題或情況,您可以隨時向本會員工和現場志工尋求幫助。若發生任何您認為主辦方需要知悉或處理的情況,請在活動期間聯絡主辦單位。若您遭遇騷擾、歧視或其他顧慮,請立即聯絡大會工作人員,或填寫本會的聯絡表單 https://www.ps-taiwan.org/tw/modules/liaise/。本會將盡快回覆您。
  4. 禁止騷擾和歧視等行為 所有在會議現場之人士必須避免針對年齡、人種、族群、性傾向、性別認同、性別氣質、婚姻狀態、國籍、政治立場、身體素質、教育背景或其他法律保障的特徵進行不當的言語或行為。我們禁止任何騷擾、歧視、冒犯和攻擊行為,包括但不限於:
    • 霸凌或人身攻擊
    • 打斷談話或其他活動
    • 使用與性相關的語言和影像
    • 性別歧視、種族歧視和排他性的玩笑
    • 冒犯性的言語或恐嚇
    • 騷擾照片或錄音
    • 不適當的肢體接觸和性騷擾
    • 不合理的直接訊息
    • 人肉搜尋或洩漏個人資訊
    • 令人反感的笑話或評論
    • 不適當的觸碰或注視
    • 具冒犯性的圖片
    • 未經同意的肖像拍攝和跟蹤騷擾等情況
      參與者若經主辦方警告,應立即停止任何騷擾行為,並遵守主辦方的要求或指示。
  5. 違反行為準則的後果 所有違反此行為準則的情況將報告給會議主辦方、本會工作人員或會議負責人。處罰措施可能包括口頭警告、驅逐出會議且不得退款、禁止參與未來的會議,甚至追究法律責任。

本會期待並鼓勵所有參與者共同遵守行為準則,如發現不當言行,應積極向主辦方報告,共同維護一個尊重、安全和專業的會議環境,感謝您的合作。

 


TPS Conference Code of Conduct

The Physical Society of Taiwan (TPS) is committed to upholding professionalism and fostering a harmonious and professional conference environment. The following is our Conference Code of Conduct (hereinafter referred to as "Code"), and your participation in TPS-organized conferences signifies your agreement to abide by this Code. TPS will rigorously enforce this Code to ensure the safety and smooth experience of all participants.

  1. Mutual Respect TPS strongly opposes any form of bias, harassment, and retaliation. We call upon all individuals present at the conference, including but not limited to participants, exhibitors, society staff, volunteers, and stakeholders, to welcome each other with professionalism. Mutual respect and understanding should be practiced at conference venues, online conference platforms, and related social activities, fostering an environment of harmony, inclusivity, and professionalism.
  2. Creating a Safe Environment All conferences organized and sponsored by TPS are dedicated to creating a safe event environment and will not tolerate any form of harassment or discrimination by participants. TPS will strictly enforce this Code of Conduct, and we expect the collaborative effort of all participants to ensure a safe and seamless event environment.
  3. Complaint Procedure If you encounter any issues or situations, feel free to seek assistance from TPS staff and on-site volunteers. If you experience any situation that you believe the organizers should be aware of or address, please contact the organizers during the event. In case of harassment, discrimination, or other concerns, promptly contact conference personnel or fill out our contact form at https://www.ps-taiwan.org/tw/modules/liaise/. TPS will respond as soon as possible.
  4. Prohibition of Harassment and Discrimination All individuals present at the conference must refrain from engaging in inappropriate language or behavior targeting age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, nationality, political stance, physical attributes, educational background, or other legally protected characteristics. We strictly prohibit any form of harassment, discrimination, offense, and aggression, including but not limited to:
    • Bullying or personal attacks
    • Interrupting conversations or activities
    • Using sexually explicit language and imagery
    • Gender-based, racial, or exclusionary jokes
    • Offensive speech or threats
    • Harassment through photos or recordings
    • Inappropriate physical contact and sexual harassment
    • Unwanted direct messages
    • Doxing or leaking personal information
    • Offensive jokes or comments
    • Inappropriate touching or staring
    • Offensive imagery
    • Unauthorized photography and stalking

    Participants, upon being warned by the organizers, should immediately cease any harassing behavior and comply with the organizers' requests or instructions.

  5. Consequences for Violating the Code All instances of violating this Code of Conduct will be reported to the conference organizers, TPS staff, or conference leads. Consequences may include verbal warnings, expulsion from the conference without refund, prohibition from attending future conferences, or even legal action. We encourage participants to actively report improper behavior to the organizers and appreciate everyone's cooperation. We emphasize that even in cases where there is no malicious intent, an appeal mechanism will be provided if behavior is deemed inappropriate.

TPS expects and encourages all participants to adhere to this Code of Conduct, report any inappropriate conduct, and work together to maintain an environment of respect, safety, and professionalism. Thank you for your cooperation.
